Something Borrowed
The J.Crew dress I never gave back—and the pieces I'm loving now.
When I was little, there were two stores I would constantly beg to visit. As I’ve shared with you before, the first was Gap with my grandma. The second was J.Crew with my mom.
It’s funny looking back on how much those stores excited me, but I can still vividly remember the navy strapless eyelet dress from J.Crew. It had to be one of the first pieces I ever borrowed from my mom, and to this day, I’d wear that dress again in a heartbeat if I could find it.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing these classic brands having a resurgence. Since I’ve been singing Gap’s praises for months now, I thought it was only fair to give J.Crew some love, too. Their summer collection has me doing double takes, and there are so many pieces I’m tempted to add to my cart.
